Normally, when you wish upon a star, what do you see?
You see 'hope'.
At 4.24 light years away, you see a gleaming hope. It shines in the dark, reflecting the light from the sun.
Well, the point is, there isn't any hope elements. At the appearance, you would find it strong, reliable and you admire its beauty. You will look up to it daily and ya'know you will wish upon it. You are led to believe that it will make your wish come true and you hoped it will give you a happy ending. Still, you are missing a point here.
You see, light travels at the speed of approximately 2.99 x10^8 m/s and by the time it reaches the surface of earth, it would take also approximately more than 4 years. So what does it conclude?
Whatever you wished upon, and whatever you hoped for, they are all nothing but fakes. The star which you believed to exist in the sky, which you respected and worshiped, is dead It ceased to exist.
You are looking into the past and strongly believed that your past, would do good for your future and you are, still, wrong.
The star is dead, just like your dream. You can't pursue something that is dead. Hope for something new. Something which exist. Your past should never ever affect your future, but the present you, must do something for a brighter future. For the good or for the bad, even if your past changed you, don't let it affect you, instead be strong and make use of the changes, which you experienced, and turn it into your forte.
